In New Zealand, Cloudbase Print & Promotions produces rigid set-up boxes, magnetic-closure presentation boxes, hinged-lid gift kits, printed sleeves, and custom corrugated mailers. Inserts are foam, moulded paper pulp, or thermoformed plastic. Minimum order 50 boxes, lead time 4 to 8 weeks for custom dies.
About presentation packaging
Presentation packaging is the difference between a corporate gift that gets binned and one that sits on a desk. Done right, it is a brand asset that survives long after the product inside it has been used, drunk, or worn.
We produce rigid set-up boxes (the classic luxury format, fully wrapped, magnetic or lid-and-base), hinged-lid kits, printed corrugated mailers, and presentation sleeves. Inserts are die-cut foam, moulded paper pulp (eco-friendly, increasingly common), or thermoformed PET (clear, premium feel). Print decoration on the box itself: full-colour litho-laminated wrap, soft-touch finish, foil stamp, debossing.
Lead times are longer (4 to 8 weeks for custom dies, since prototyping and die-cut tooling sit at the front end). Send concept sketches or competitor samples and we will work backwards to specs and a quote.

What you can spec.
- File formats
- Press-ready PDF preferred. Adobe Illustrator (AI), InDesign (IDML packaged), or EPS also accepted. 3 mm bleed, 5 mm safe area, fonts outlined, CMYK colour, 300 dpi.
- Box types
- Rigid set-up box (lid and base), magnetic-closure box, hinged-lid book-style box, drawer box, sleeve over inner tray, printed corrugated mailer.
- Materials
- Greyboard 1.5 to 3 mm wrapped in printed art paper, kraft, or specialty papers (Buckram, leatherette, Tyvek). Corrugated B-flute or E-flute for shipping mailers.
- Inserts
- Die-cut EVA foam (most common, holds heavy items), moulded paper pulp (eco-recyclable), thermoformed PET (clear, premium), printed card insert with cut-outs.
- Decoration
- Full-colour litho-wrap, soft-touch lamination, foil stamp, deboss, spot UV, screen-print direct to greyboard.
- Minimum order
- 50 boxes for stock-die formats, 250+ for custom dies (tooling fee applies under 250).
