About brochures & flyers

Flyers and brochures are still the cheapest way to put a real, considered piece of marketing in someone's hand. Whether you are stuffing a tradeshow bag, mailing rural NZ, or kitting out a retail counter, the format earns its keep when the design and the print quality match the message.

We print full-colour digital from 100 units, and switch to offset above 1,000 where the per-unit cost crosses over. Standard stocks run 130 to 170 gsm gloss or silk for flyers, 200 to 350 gsm for covers. Folding (bi-fold, tri-fold, gate-fold, roll-fold), saddle-stitching, perfect binding, and PUR binding are available through Auckland-based finishers.

Press-ready PDF preferred. Adobe Illustrator (AI), InDesign (IDML packaged), or EPS also accepted. 3 mm bleed, 5 mm safe area, fonts outlined, CMYK colour, 300 dpi.
Common sizes
DL (99 × 210 mm), A6 (105 × 148 mm), A5 (148 × 210 mm), A4 (210 × 297 mm), A3 (297 × 420 mm), custom sizes on request.
Stocks
Flyers: 130, 150, 170 gsm gloss or silk. Brochures: 170 gsm text + 250 to 350 gsm cover. Uncoated, recycled, FSC-certified options available.
Folding
Bi-fold, tri-fold (Z and roll), gate-fold, half-fold + tri-fold, custom dies.
Binding (booklets)
Saddle-stitched up to 32 pages. Perfect bound 32 to 200 pages. PUR for heavy stocks or design books.
Minimum order
100 units digital, 1,000 units offset.

Frequently asked questions.

What is the cheapest flyer option for a small business?
DL or A5 flyers on 130 gsm gloss, printed full-colour double-sided digital. The per-unit price drops fast above 500 units. For runs over 2,500, offset on 150 gsm silk usually beats digital on price and gives a better paper feel.
What is the difference between bi-fold and tri-fold brochures?
Bi-fold is a single fold giving four panels (cover, inside left, inside right, back). Tri-fold has two folds giving six panels and is the standard format for product brochures and rack cards. Roll-fold tri-fold tucks one panel inside; Z-fold concertinas the panels.
How many pages can I saddle-stitch?
Saddle-stitching (two staples through the spine) holds up to 32 pages comfortably, 40 pages at a stretch on light stocks. Above that, the centre pages start creeping at the trim. Move to perfect binding (PUR or EVA) for 48 to 200 pages.
Can you do FSC or recycled stocks?
Yes. We often use FSC certified gloss, silk, and uncoated stocks across the standard weight range. FSC certified card stock is paper harvested from responsibly managed, socially beneficial, and economically viable forests, ensuring the raw materials are tracked from the forest to the end consumer. It guarantees that your sustainable paper choices do not harm the world's forests. 100% post-consumer recycled options available on request.
Do you offer mailing services?
We can quote, print and batch to your distribution house supplier specs, then deliver to that distribution house for final individualised shrink wrap, addressing and despatch. Useful for AGMs, donor mailers, and seasonal campaigns. Database needs to be CSV with a clean address field.
