About presentation folders

A presentation folder is the moment your brand sits on someone's desk for a week. It needs to hold a stack of A4 inserts without buckling, look right next to your business card, and survive being thrown in a satchel.

We print on 350 to 400 gsm coated board, laminated matt or soft-touch by default (gloss available, but it scuffs faster). Pocket choices: glued (cleanest finish, manufactured), interlock (flat-shipped, end-user assembled, lower freight), or capacity-style with a 5 to 10 mm spine for thicker insert sets. Business card slits are standard. Foil, spot UV, and embossing supported on the cover.

Send the artwork and the insert thickness. We will spec the right pocket and quote promptly.

Presentation Folders FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Do presentation folders need to be glued or can they ship flat?
Both work. Glued (manufactured) folders look cleaner and are easier to fill. Interlock folders ship flat for cheaper freight and lower storage; the recipient or your end-user assembles them in 5 seconds (no glue required). For trade shows, interlock saves a lot of pallet space.
What is a capacity folder?
A capacity folder has a small spine (5 to 10 mm) so it can hold a thicker insert set without bowing. Use it when the inserts run beyond 10 to 15 sheets, or when you are including printed materials, an A4 brochure, plus a business card.
Can you foil stamp or emboss the cover?
Yes. Foil stamp is hot-stamped metallic (gold, silver, copper, custom). Embossing raises the cover artwork; debossing pushes it in. Spot UV adds a glossy clear-coat over selected artwork on a matt-laminated cover (the contrast effect is the point). All three can be combined.
What stock do you recommend for a premium folder?
350 gsm uncoated (Colorplan, Keaykolour, Mohawk Superfine) printed digitally and finished with soft-touch lamination plus a foil-stamped logo. Costs more per unit but the tactile difference is immediate. For corporate annual reports or capability decks, it is worth the spend.
Can you print and supply matching A4 inserts?
Yes. We commonly quote folders plus matching inserts (capability statement, case study sheets, price list, business cards) as one line item. Same press run keeps colour consistent across the set.
